Kingdom of Ashes is an adventure pixel art game ambiented in a dark fantasy set made by Team Blink Twice. 

Submission for the SheJam 2025. 

Theme: Start from Zero. Rebuild. Reimagine. Rise.

Story:

After the destruction of her home, and the loss of the king, her father, the princess is adamant on staying and building it back up, and taking revenge.

She uses forbidden magic and necromancy. However the citizens refuse to come back to the kingdom, for it is now cursed due to the princess actions. 

To have a kingdom you need to have citizens to rule, of course. Go on an adventure with the princess while she finds new magic systems to help in the reconstruction of her kingdom.

In this game you play as a villainess who cares very deeply about her kingdom and people.

Game-play:

Move > Arrow Keys or WASD

 Jump > Space 

Fight > Z

 Interact > E

 QUIT Game > ESC
